Local entertainment business, Mildura Entertainment, is putting together final preparations for Mildura Rural City Council’s 2023 New Year’s Eve celebrations.
The event returns to Nowingi Place this year after last year’s flooding of Mildura’s riverfront.
Festivities run from 6:00 until midnight with musical guests include Aaron Schembri Band, Cool 4 Kids Show, Iwan, Andrea & The Soul Brothers Band and Thea McLoughlan.
Food trucks and kids activities including Little Glitter Shack, face painting, and Inflatable Carnival Games by Wentworth Rotary.
Chill Air Studios will be offering spray-on tattoos and air brushed hats.
The ever popular fireworks displays will wow the crowds at 9:00pm and midnight.
It is a drug and alcohol free event.
In the CBD, the Taxi Waiting Zone will operate Friday night, Saturday night and also New Year’s Eve until, with an extended operating time until 5:00am.
