Ratepayers in the Balranald Shire are facing a ten per cent increase in their rates.
The council is after feedback on its draft budget for the upcoming financial year, saying the general rate rise is in line with the Special Rate Variation.
The Shire is expecting a surplus of just over 18-and-a-half thousand dollars, and also says it’s looking to develop village plans for Euston and Balranald.
