TAFE teachers are set to take strike action today in the fight for better pay and conditions.
SuniTAFE staff at the Mildura and Swan Hill campuses are also set to join a 24-hour stop work action next month, with the education union claiming the Victorian Government has not put a fair and reasonable offer on the table.
The Australian Education Union says data shows 40 per cent of teachers are expecting to leave their job in five years, while over 70 per cent considered walking away last year due to high stress, poor funding and unsustainable workloads.
