Swan Hill Rural City councillors have voted to accept an invitation by Robinvale’s sister city in France for the mayor to attend there.
Villers-Bretonneux extended the invitation for Mayor Stuart King to travel to the city in April, but Swan Hill councillors initially voted to decline that last month.
However the council at the same meeting endorsed a trip to Swan Hill’s sister city in Japan.

A meeting yesterday voted for Councillor King to head to France.
In the last 20 years representative have visited Yamagata five times, however there has only been on trip to Villers-Bretonneux.
A meeting last week to re-visit the issue didn’t have enough councillors available to make a decision on the topic.
