Swan Hill drivers urged to do the right thing

Swan hill Police are urging drivers to do the right thing on the roads after another two drivers were nabbed within hours last week.

On Tuesday 22nd of July at about 4:45pm, Swan Hill Highway Patrol detected a 17 year old male with a NSW licence travelling at 139km/hr north along the Murray Valley Highway, Vinifera.

He was issued a $763 infringement notice and a 6 month disqualification from driving in Victoria.

And then, a short time later that same evening, Swan Hill Police observed an 18 year old male from Swan Hill engaging in alleged hoon driving with wheels losing traction on Memorial Drive.

The vehicle was impounded at a cost of $1525 and he will receive a summons to appear at court on a later date.
