Swan Hill Rural City Council is stopping its free paint drop-off service at local landfill and transfer stations, including the Robinvale landfill.
Liquid paint can’t be disposed of through the waste system, but the council says it’s working through options.
It’s working with a company to look at opportunities to maintain a free paint disposal service, while solid paint in cans can still be disposed of under current guidelines.
