Swan Hill Rural City Council is taking action on the housing crisis facing the municipality.
It says it’s facing an especially urgent situation due to the region’s growth in agriculture, manufacturing, education and health.
The council says the housing shortage is impacting the ability for people to move to areas including Robinvale and fill jobs.

A housing forum is being held next Wednesday at the Swan Hill Town Hall on the matter, with locals urged to get involved.
Robinvale residents can tune in via a livestream from the Robinvale Resource Centre.
