Sunraysia and District Veterans Golfers Association next game is Mildura Gateway’s Single Stableford at Riverside Golf Club on Monday, 2nd June, with the course in great condition after their winter open.
The association asks competitors to please wear your name badge, and bring correct money.
Also on the 16th June, Ouyen Golf Club is holding a 4 Ball Better Ball Stableford competition of their own.
Vets competitions are held on the 1st Monday of the month with registration at 8:30am and a shotgun start at 9:30.
The cost of joining is a one off $15 and then $25 gets a game and lunch at various local courses.
50 years and older qualifies players locally, but you must be 55 years old to compete in all states around Australia.
The local association is also still in need of a new secretary.
A new computer and any assistance will be available for the person who will fill the vacancy.
