The fire danger rating for the Mallee is high today, but there is no Total Fire Ban in the Mallee.
A Total Fire Ban has been declared for the Northern Country which takes in Bendigo, Echuca and Shepparton today.
Meanwhile, Mildura MP Jade Benhma has praised the work of the CFA following a fire at Sea Lake.
The fire authority managed to save the pharmacy in the town, while a disused former cafe was destroyed.
However, the local MP has taken to social media, angry that the Station 72 had no reserve pumper because the aerial is in Melbourne.
