Locals wanting to find out more can head to the Rural Fire Service website.

The temperatures are expected to drop to 25 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, a community information message was issued yesterday afternoon for a stubble fire at Nowie.

Fire crews were called to the blaze, but residents around areas including Swan Hill and Pira were advised of smoke in the area.
