Subsidised pet desexing for July – Swan Hill

July is National Desexing Month.

Swan Hill Rural City Council are partnering with the National Desexing Network to help eligible residents access affordable desexing for their cats.

For just $50 per pet, eligible residents can access subsidised cat desexing, with the remaining costs covered through Council support and participating veterinary clinic discounts.

Council says by making desexing more accessible, we’re helping reduce unwanted litters, support responsible pet ownership, and improve animal welfare across our region.

Residents can contact the National Desexing Network on 1300 368 992 to check eligibility. Approved applicants will receive a voucher redeemable at participating veterinary clinics, including Swan Hill Veterinary Clinic.
