230 students from Irymple Primary School, Merbein P-10 College, Cardross Primary School and Nichols Point Primary School (Official) joined Mildura Eco Village last week to celebrate World Environment Day.
The students engaged in hands-on, educational activities where they learned about waste and recycling, noise pollution, built their own water filters, and even had a special visit from some friendly wildlife locals.
Many groups were involved in the day including the Waste Services Team, Lower Murray Water, Environment Protection Authority Victoria, and EnviroEDU.
