Mildura and Swan Hill councils will receive Victorian State funding to host events during Youth Fest 2024, to be held later this year.
Each have received a grant of up to two-thousand dollars, aimed at creating interactive and other events for young people.
Mildura Rural City Council will use the money to host the Youth Awards, recognising the work and achievements of locals aged between 12 and 25 who’ve shown leadership and have overcome hardship.
