Mildura Rural City Council is running workshops for community groups in need for training in social media.
The workshops will provide inspiration, motivation, direction and a little bit of accountability with community social media accounts.
Communications and social media specialist Kimberley Furness will run fun and interactive workshops in Mildura or Ouyen.
Topics covered will include effectively managing your socials, creating engaging content, writing captions and using hashtags, creating stories and reels and photography tips and useful apps.
Workshops are tailored to suit beginner to intermediate levels with three sessions available:
Ouyen, 5.30pm to 8.30pm, Wednesday 28 May 2025
and
Mildura, 12.30pm to 3.30pm or 5.30pm to 8.30pm, Thursday 29 May 2025.
The workshops are open to all not-for-profit community groups and sporting groups based in the Mildura Rural City Council area and delivered in partnership with Emergency Recovery Victoria.
