The Patchewollock Hotel has been sold, and some locals obviously wanted to keep it in local hands.

Mildura Real Estate agent Brett Driscoll has taken to social media to announce the news, and Member for Mildura, Jade Benham, has asked the question if this is an option for the Robinvale community.
Late last year there were calls from some Robinvale residents to restore the Robinvale Hotel, which was severely damaged by fire in 2015, and had since sat gutted and derelict.
Swan Hill Rural City Council, in January, began looking into compulsorily acquiring the iconic Robinvale building.
Locals buying their local hotel is a trend that seems to be happening more and more in small communities.
