Today, Friday August 1st, will see the Purple Patch shop in Dareton celebrate its first birthday with a huge, one-day, 50% off sale from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Purple Patch was set up to provide an ongoing income stream for Sunraysia Cancer Resources as well as help raise awareness of the help local people living with a cancer diagnosis can obtain from SCR.
Currently the shop is open Wednesday to Friday from 10:00am to 4:00pm and 10:00am to 1:00pm on the first Saturday of each month.
With more volunteers they say they could open Mondays and Tuesdays as well.

The organisation says the Sunraysia community have been very supportive and provide them with good quality, clean items.
