Shade shelters being added to local playgrounds and parks

Mildura Rural City Council has added a shade shelter to a local playground, with plans to add more to other parks and play areas.

The city says the sail was installed recently at the Diablo Park Playground on the corner of Sixteenth Street and Etiwanda Avenue, providing cover of the play equipment.

It’s now looking at added shade shelters to other playgrounds and parks around the region, including Koorlong Playground, Brodie Park and Washington Park.
