Seconds separate 1st and 2nd at Finke

Mildura based STE Racing’s Callum Norton has finished second in the bikes category at the Finke Desert Race.

The 23-year-old fell 47 seconds short of beating defending champ David Walsh, with a time of one-hour 48 minutes and 35 seconds on day two.

Gol Gol’s Jet Brien finished eighth in his glass in the 250CC four-stroke category, while Mildura’s Brodie Waters came eighth overall in the 250 to 400cc class, with Red Cliffs’ Liam Dinnage coming in 25^th and Nichols Point’s Jordan Stewart coming in 52^nd overall.
