A new retractable stand being installed at the Mildura Sporting Precinct can be reconfigured for different events.
Councillor Mark Eckel says the precinct will be able to attract not just sporting events but also conferences in the future with the five-hundred seat stand.
The stand will be used next month with the Bendigo Spirit play a WNBL match.
