Missing Person Squad detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a man in Ouyen.
The man’s body was located at a rural property during a search for a missing person about 1.30pm yesterday.
While the man is yet to be formally identified, it’s believed to be that of missing person Richard who was last seen on Sunday.
Detectives and Major Crime Scene Unit members are currently on scene.

Police are currently searching, and appealing for public assistance, to locate missing man Richard.

The 65-year-old was last seen on Hughs Street in Ouyen about 8am on Sunday morning.
Investigators believe Richard may have been seen later on Sunday in the vicinity of the Mallee Highway in Ouyen.
There are concerns for Richard’s welfare as his disappearance is extremely out of character.
Richard is described as being Caucasian in appearance, bald with greying hair, a beard and moustache.
He was last seen wearing a yellow high-vis long sleeve top and a dark coloured cap.
