Police are hoping to track down a truck driver involved in a collision with an e-scooter in Mildura, which left a man in hospital.
The 44-year-old scooter rider reportedly ran into the side of the truck on Deakin Avenue outside the Mildura Library around 3:00pm yesterday, although the truck driver didn’t stop at the scene.
Police believe the truckie may have been unaware of the incident, and they are hoping they may come forward.
This week, City of Melbourne has banned hire e-scooters from the Melbourne CBD over safety concerns.
