Swan Hill Rural City Council have advised the community that a safety exclusion zone will be established around the former Robinvale Hotel at 70 Perrin Street, Robinvale in the coming days.
Fire destroyed the Robinvale Hotel in 2015 and it has sat derelict since.
Council says the exclusion zone is being put in place as a precautionary public safety measure.
The zone is expected to affect the section of footpath and adjoining car parks adjacent to the building along George Street and a small section of footpath along Perrin Street.
Signs directing pedestrian traffic to an alternative route will be established.
Motorists and pedestrians are asked to follow all traffic management directions in place.
Council has thanked the community for its patience and cooperation while these safety measures are in place.
