Special zones, where buyers and sellers can exchange items purchased online, have been established outside thirty-five Police Stations across Victoria including Mildura and Swan Hill.
Each Safer Exchange Site has clear signage outside 24-hr stations, as well as CCTV coverage and lighting.
Police say a six-month trial is already seen theft and robberies stemming from online sales decrease.
