Mildura police say last Saturday they ran a very successful Safe pl8te Day at Bunnings in Mildura with almost 40 vehicles number plates now more secure.
Police have extended a huge thank you to Bunnings Mildura and Irymple CFA for helping them run this event.
Mildura police say in the past when the price of fuel gets high, number plate thefts increase.

If you would like your number plate screws replaced with anti- theft screws, for free, Police encourage the community to look out for the next Safe pl8te event or contact the Neighbourhood Policing Team at Mildura, and they may be able to replace them at the police station.
