On the 16th of Dec, police intercepted a vehicle on the Sea Lake Road, south of Robinvale. A strong smell of cannabis was detected by police from within the vehicle. A search was conducted, and a quantity of green vegetable matter was located and an amount of poor-quality counterfeit cash. An occupant of the vehicle was arrested and conveyed to the Robinvale Police station for processing.
On the 13th of Dec and around 6.45pm, Robinvale Police attempted to pull over a Mitsubishi vehicle along Murray Valley Hwy, Boundary Bend. The vehicle was detected doing 130klm in a 100 Zone. This vehicle failed to pull over. Police obtained registration details and attended at the owners address the following day. The owner/driver admitted to the offence. Reason “I didn’t hear or see the police.” The driver was issued a fine for speeding and given an official traffic warning for failing to stop.
On the 9th of Dec, a male offender has attended at a local Robinvale Supermarket. He attends the cash register and on multiple occasions attempts to open the cash register. He was disturbed on two occasions by staff. The male offender then attends a local liquor drive through and attempts to open a cash register whilst attendant was busy with other duties. Fortunately, nothing was stolen. The male was identified and arrested by police a short time late. He was conveyed to the Robinvale police station for processing.
