Robinvale Police items

On Tuesday 9th of January at about 11.30am, a woman parked her car in Perrin Street and entered a grocery store.

She left the vehicle unlocked with a phone on the front seat.

She returned a few minutes later to find that her phone was missing.

Police reviewing CCTV footage of the area observed a male loitering around cars and leaning into the victim’s vehicle.

The man is then seen walking from the scene with the phone.

Also on Tuesday 9th of January at 9.30pm, police intercepted a vehicle in Bromley Road.

On speaking to the driver, it became evident that he was very nervous.

Police believed the driver to be substance effected.

A search of the vehicle was conducted, and a black extendable baton was located in the driver’s side door.

This item is a Prohibited Weapon and was seized.

The offender was interviewed and will have a date in court.
