Police in the Murray Mallee Region have detected multiple driving offences over the weekend including these three in the Riverland.
On Friday 30 January, Berri police stopped a Holden sedan on Sturt Highway, Berri.
The driver, a 31-year-old man from Moorook South was reported after checks showed his licence had been disqualified.
The car was impounded for 28 days and he will be summonsed to appear in Berri Magistrates Court at a later date.
On Sunday 1 February, Loxton police stopped a Ford sedan on Bookpurnong Road, Loxton.
The driver, a 47-year-old man from Loxton returned a positive drug test for cannabis.
He was issued with a three-month immediate loss of licence notice and may be summonsed to appear in Berri Magistrates Court at a later date pending forensic analysis.
On Sunday 1st February Waikerie Police detected a Toyota ute on Sturt Highway travelling at 134 kmp/h in a 110 kmp/h zone.
The driver, a 25-year-old man from Ramco returned a positive blood alcohol result of 0.069.
He was reported for drink driving and his car was impounded for 28 days.
He will be summonsed at a later date to appear in Berri Magistrates Court.
