The Mildura riverfront will soon benefit from additional pedestrian lighting, connecting lighting from Jaycee Park through to the Mildura Homestead, aimed at improving safety and accessibility for everyone using the area.
Additional pedestrian lighting along the Cureton Avenue walking path will also be installed from Hugh King Drive to the Bowls Club car park.
The improved lighting will also support accessibility during the evening and early morning hours, allowing all visitors to navigate the space with greater confidence.
During this time, there will be construction activity along the riverfront, however, minimal disruption is expected to visitors.
Work is set to begin in January 2025 and is expected to be completed in March 2025.
