Work to reinstate Mildura Weir is almost completed, with boaters able to use Lock 11 from tomorrow.
Authorities have thanked locals for their patience over the last few weeks while crews have been working on the weir.
It was removed in July to allow for high river flows from heavy rains along the Murray.

Walkers and runners will also be able to get around Lock Island and Lock Park this weekend.
The river level in the weir pool has started to rise back up and is expected to continue to rise to full supply level in the coming days.
