A new report has highlighted the negative effects of bank closures across regional and remote communities.
Several branches have closed in Mildura and Robinvale over the last year, including the ANZ last May.
Professor Julian Thomas from the RMIT says it potentially disadvantages an already vulnerable community from accessing financial services.
The report was also submitted to the senate inquiry into regional bank branch closures.
