A teenage driver has lost his licence on the spot after being caught at extreme speed Tuesday.
A Murray Mallee Highway Patrol unit clocked the teen’s ute travelling north on Government Road, Renmark about 12.30pm on Tuesday August 13, at 171 km/h in the 80 km/h zone.
The driver, an 18-year-old Renmark man, was the holder of a Provisional licence.

He was reported for aggravated extreme speed and issued with a 12-month instant loss of licence.
His vehicle was impounded for 28 days.
He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
