Latest figures reveal rental markets outside the major capitals remain tight with median weekly rents across Regional Australia now sitting at $540 per week.
That figure is 8% higher than the same time last year as regional markets saw a 12.5% drop in total listings over the past twelve months.
Cameron Kusher from PropTrack says increasing demand and fewer properties mean it’s becoming even more expensive for regional renters.
