Mildura Airport say they are proud to welcome back the Royal Australian Air Force’s No. 1 Flying Training School (1FTS) for their fourth navigation training detachment, with PC-21 aircraft operating across our region from 25 October to 7 November 2026.
To celebrate the return of 1FTS, the airport is inviting the community to join them for a RAAF Community Day at the Mildura RSL RAAF Museum, Mildura Airport.
The afternoon will feature a PC-21 aircraft display, the chance to meet the RAAF pilots, military vehicles, BBQ and an aerobatic display (pending weather and operational requirements).
The Community Day will be held on Friday 30 October from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.

From 25 October to 7 November, the community can expect periods of increased flying activity, including occasional low-level flying across the greater Mildura region as part of the RAAF’s navigation training exercises.
