The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) is currently utilising local skies for essential navigational training operations.
What you need to know:
Navigation Training: RAAF 1FTS crews are conducting navigation training across the region and are expected to remain in the area for one further week.

Recent Visitors: You may have noticed the “Grey Birds” (PC-21 aircraft from No. 4 SQN Williamtown) or a large BBJ in the area recently.
Don’t be alarmed: If you see or hear an increase in plane activity over the coming days, please be assured it is part of this scheduled training exercise.
The activity is due to conclude this Saturday, June 6.
