The NSW Lower Western Bush Fire Management Plan has recently been reviewed.
The Lower Western Bush Fire Management Committee (BFMC) consists of fire agencies, land managers and other stakeholders, and have been working to identify ways of reducing the impact of fires in the area.
“Bush fires can affect our homes, livelihoods and communities with devastating consequences,” said Lower Western Bush Fire Risk Management Committee Executive Officer Supt Steve Walker.
“We encourage everyone to take the opportunity to review the draft plan and ensure any concerns are addressed”.
