Some of Australia’s oldest road-going vehicles are heading to Wentworth.
The 2026 RACV Pre-05 Pioneers Rally will bring 28 historic vehicles to the region, all built before 1905.
Entrants will travel from Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania, creating one of the largest gatherings of pioneer vehicles in Australia.
The community is invited to see these rare vehicles up close at Strother Park, opposite the Old Wentworth Gaol, from 9:45am to 11:45am on Saturday, 26 September.
Owners will be available to answer questions and share the stories behind their vehicles, helping preserve an important part of motoring history for future generations.
Cameras are welcome, and organisers say it will be a unique look at automotive innovation from more than a century ago.
