Member for Mallee Anne Webster has taken to social media to praise the Hot Wheelies event in Mildura!
The local MP says this celebration of sport, inclusion, and community shows exactly what makes our region so special — people of all abilities coming together, having fun, and cheering each other on.
Webster says “It was a privilege to speak at the event and acknowledge the hard work of everyone involved — from participants to organisers, volunteers, and supporters. Your energy and passion are truly inspiring.”
The free wheelchair basketball program designed for people of all ages and abilities, including those with disability.
The Intereach 6-week program started yesterday and will run every Sunday until 14 Sept at Hothouse Stadium, Mildura.
Wheelchairs, equipment & coaching support is provided with free bus transport to and from stadium.
