Powercor crews continued to inspect and progressively restore power to Mildura homes and businesses yesterday following a vehicle collision with a power pole on Monday.
As of last night, they have successfully restored supply to 1,067 customers.
1,706 customers remain without power.
More resources were arriving last night as they work to get everyone back on supply as safely and quickly as possible.
Their emergency response vehicles will be set up at the Alfred Deakin Centre (180-190 Deakin Avenue, Mildura) again from 8:00am today.
Due to the nature of the fault, a Licensed Electrical Inspector may need to attend properties to complete safety checks.
Their Inspectors are working as safely and quickly as possible.

Mildura Central and all retailers will be open for trade today, following the recent power outage.
Power will continue to be restored over the next few hours as electricians complete further safety checks across the Centre.
Today’s opening times:
Woolworths – from 7:00am
Kmart – from 8:00am
Mildura Central – from 9:00am
While retailers will be reopening today, centre management is asking shoppers to please be mindful that some stores may take a little longer to open or may experience operational issues as their teams work through the impacts of the power outage and return to normal trade.

Access to showers
Powercor representatives to provide updated information on the power outage.
The Mildura Sporting Precinct will reopen at midday today, providing charging stations for devices and access to showers.
