Power outage assistance update

September 30, 2026 6:36 am in by

If you were affected by the Mildura power outage last week, Powercor is increasing the payment available to eligible customers from $90 to $380.

The energy provider know that the outage caused significant disruption, so they’re doing more to support affected customers and bringing the payment forward, rather than making you wait for it to appear as a credit on your electricity bill.

If you’re eligible, you will need to apply for this increased $380 payment by 31 October 2026.
