Possible overtaking lanes between Mildura and SA border

There could be overtaking lanes on the Sturt Highway between Mildura and the South Australian border.

The Victorian Government is considering the option after Federal MP Anne Webster raised concerns about the road.

The Member for Mallee has told the Sunraysia Daily that she’s had locals recently raise concerns about the highway, who want to see it made safer.

But she says nothing’s been confirmed regarding the overtaking lanes, or in fact any funding for that stretch of road.
