Three drivers have lost their license after committing traffic offences in the Murray Mallee Region over the weekend, including one in the Riverland.
Just before 2:00am on Friday 2 January, police stopped a Kia sedan on Twentieth Street, Renmark for a driver test.
The driver, a 70-year-old local woman provided a positive result of 0.080 and was reported for Drink-driving.
She was issued a six-month immediate loss of license notice, and her car was impounded for 28 days.
About 8.30pm on Saturday 3 January, an Audi sedan was detected travelling at 146 km/h in a 100 km/h zone on the Sturt Highway at Blanchetown, and just before 10:00pm the same day, police stopped a Ford utility on Old Princess Highway at Murray Bridge for a driver test. The driver, a 55-year-old local woman provided a positive result of 0.086.
Each of the drivers will attend court at a later date.
