Water police will be out on Lake Ouyen over the Christmas Holidays.
It’s one inland waterway that’ll be targeted over the summer break, with officers warning they’ll be holding licence checks and conducting breath tests with the support of local police.
Another focus will be unruly boat and jet-ski behaviour, with police saying they won’t hesitate fining anyone caught going too close to swimmers.
