Former Wentworth Deputy Mayor Paul Cohrs has been jailed for 30 years for fatally shooting his mother in Red Cliffs.
The 65-year-old must spend at least 23-years behind bars for the murder of 81-year-old Bette Shulz-Cohrs at her home in Red Cliffs in 2018, following a years-long family dispute.
He was found guilty at his trial in May.

He’s also accused of murdering his brother in New South Wales, but that will be tried in a different jurisdiction.
