Organisers are hailing Saturday’s Ouyen Mallee Root Festival the most successful ever, following a busy day in Ouyen.
Around 12-hundred people attended the event at Ouyen Lake, a higher crowd than expected according to organisers.
The event saw plenty on offer with live music, boat rides and even a mechanical bull.

There were visitors from out of the area at the event, and there is now talk of more events that can be explored in the region in the future.
