We’re again being warned about the dangers of leaving campsites unattended or using machinery during hot weather.
Police have launched Operation Safeguard during the fire season, aimed at reducing and stopping intentional or recklessly lit fires.
They say in one instance a recklessly lit fire at a Robinvale campsite four years ago led to the damage of local properties, while a number of campers had to be evacuated.

The fire was lit on a Total Fire Ban day.
