Nurses accept pay offer

Nurses in the public sector have agreed to a 28-point-four per cent wage rise over four years.

Union members knocked back an in-principle agreement last month, rejecting an offer that included a 12-per cent pay rise.

However, locals met at a Mildura satellite hub to hear what the union had to say yesterday afternoon, which included the endorsement of the pay offer.
