A local council group is calling on councils north of the Murray to consider applying for federal funding for regional capital works projects.
Regional Development Australia – Murray says it’ll support applications if the Wentworth and Balranald Shires, and local non-profit groups, choose to go for funding.
It says the Growing Regions Program is about investing in community infrastructure and delivering projects that’ll improve liveability and respond to community needs. Regional Development Australia Murray says the second round of the program will open on September 5 and will see groups able to apply for funding of up to 15-MILLION dollars for capital works projects.
