It’s time for people across the Far West of NSW to nominate family, friends or work mates for the 2026 NSW Volunteer of the Year Awards, to help celebrate the enormous positive impact of volunteers across the state.

The awards are in their 20th year and are run by The Centre for Volunteering to recognise the outstanding work of volunteers in every region across NSW.

Nominations for the awards can be made across seven separate categories, and Far West Regional award recipients are invited to the State Gala Ceremony at the end of the year to represent the Region and to be present for the announcement of the 2026 NSW Volunteer of the Year.
