A reminder to locals and visitors that there will be fireworks displays at 9.30pm and midnight tonight at Nowingi Place to celebrate the New Year.
Fireworks are frightening to some pets.
Please pay attention to signs that your pet may be feeling stressed.
Below are some tips to ensure your pets are safe and secure as we bring in the New Year:
Leave your pets at home
Provide pets with a safe, quiet and secure area within the house
Pay attention to when the fireworks start
Make sure pets are wearing collars and ID tags

Also, Mildura’s Taxi Waiting Zone (located at 132 Eighth Street) will operate between midnight and 4:00am overnight tonight, in addition to the usual Friday and Saturday operating hours.
