Rental properties in Sunraysia and across Victoria will have new standards.
The Victorian Government is bringing in a new heating standard for rooming houses, where operators must install electric fixed heaters in homes, saying all heaters must be fixed and electric by 2030.
It’ll also be mandatory to secure blind cords with a cord guide or cleat installed on a wall or structure by December 2025.
